What happened: Jaylen Brown spent the summer on focused shooting work with his trainer. The trainer discussed the program on The Kevin O'Connor Show and placed Brown among the best shooters he has coached.

Why it matters: Perimeter shooting shapes Brown's role entering the 2026-27 preseason slate. Improved range would change spacing and late-game lineup options.

What to watch: Preseason games will show whether the summer work changes his shooting volume.
