What happened: Hunter said afterward that it felt great to make a first-half play for Jacksonville while adding that he wishes he could do more as he waits for a larger offensive role. The Sunday divisional matchup on NFL Network also featured two touchdowns by Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten and an end-zone interception by Houston safety Calen Bullock.

Why it matters: Hunter, whom Steve Mariucci recently praised as an emerging superstar, continues to lobby for expanded offensive touches while contributing on both sides of the ball. Across seven games with Jacksonville in 2025, he totaled 28 receptions for 298 yards and one touchdown, per ESPN.

What to watch: Hunter's offensive snap count and target share remain key usage storylines to monitor as Jacksonville's 2026 regular season continues.
