What happened: Defensive end Za'Darius Smith is officially on the active gameday roster for the Atlanta Falcons, per Marc Raimondi.

Why it matters: His availability restores an experienced pass rusher after the Falcons ruled him out with a concussion on Oct. 6. Smith joined Atlanta's camp in late August after retiring in 2025 due to family losses.

What to watch: Smith steps back into Atlanta's defensive front for Sunday's kickoff.
