Trey Amos is the biggest 2026 concern among four roster designations

Dorance Armstrong and Deatrich Wise Jr. joined him on Active/PUP, while Fred Davis II landed on Active/NFI.

We have made the following roster moves: - Placed CB Trey Amos, DE Dorance Armstrong and DE Deatrich Wise Jr. on the Act Via @Commanders on X

What happened: The three PUP players are continuing recoveries from injuries suffered last season. These active-list designations do not establish that any player will miss Week 1.

Why it matters: Amos is the only corner in the PUP group, while Armstrong and Wise are both defensive ends. That makes Amos' recovery the single biggest variable for one position group entering the upcoming season.
