What happened: Minnesota opened Jordan Mason's practice window on Oct. 19 and activated the fifth-year running back to the 53-man roster Saturday without an injury designation after he practiced fully all week following a thumb injury. San Francisco activated wide receiver Christian Kirk from injured reserve after placing him on the list Oct. 15 with a calf issue, removing his questionable tag for Sunday's game against Atlanta. The moves join Saturday activations for Green Bay running back Josh Jacobs, Atlanta cornerback A.J. Terrell Jr. from a groin injury, and Houston wide receiver Tank Dell from a knee injury.

Why it matters: Mason returns to Minnesota's backfield after rushing 159 times for 758 yards and six touchdowns across 16 games for the Vikings in 2025, per ESPN. San Francisco and Atlanta both regain starters for their head-to-head matchup Sunday, with Kirk—who caught 28 passes for 239 yards and one touchdown in 13 games in 2025, per ESPN—lining up opposite Terrell, a 2020 first-round pick who recorded 68 tackles in 15 games for the Falcons in 2025, per ESPN. Dell is slated to make his 2026 season debut for Houston.

By the numbers: Entering Sunday's Week 7 slate of the 2026 season, Minnesota sits at 5-0, Green Bay is 4-2 (No. 6 seed, three-game winning streak), Atlanta is 2-4 (No. 9 seed, two-game losing streak), and Houston is 2-4 (No. 13 seed, two-game winning streak).

What to watch: All five activated players are eligible to suit up on Sunday, highlighted by San Francisco visiting Atlanta.
