What happened: Fabrizio Romano posted on Sunday that Vinicius Jr. told Barcelona fans, "15 Champions Leagues," a jab referencing Real Madrid's European title count. The clip and quote were quickly amplified by fan and club-watch accounts during El Clasico at Camp Nou.

Why it matters: The moment adds another flashpoint to a rivalry match that LALIGA billed as a decisive showdown in the title race. It also fits the tone around Vinicius Jr. as a central Real Madrid figure, with the quote likely to drive reaction well beyond the final whistle.

What to watch: Watch for broadcast footage, postmatch comments, or disciplinary fallout if the exchange is addressed publicly. The result of Sunday's Clasico will determine whether the quote becomes a footnote or a defining rivalry moment.
