What happened: ESPN spotlighted Victor Wembanyama's enthusiastic reaction during the Spurs' Game 2 against the Timberwolves, capturing the moment San Antonio's lead grew to 35 points. Social posts described his celebration as 'extended alien,' underscoring the energy radiating from the Spurs star on the bench.

Why it matters: The clip adds to a growing collection of viral Wembanyama postseason moments, reinforcing his role as the face of the Spurs' playoff run. Minnesota entered this Western Conference Semifinal shorthanded after Anthony Edwards' knee injury and Donte DiVincenzo's Achilles tear, both confirmed in late April.

What to watch: Watch how the Spurs manage Wembanyama's workload as the WCSF series progresses, and whether the Timberwolves can find offensive answers without their injured guards.
