What happened: Rookie defender Wesley Bailey drew recognition Sunday following another disruptive defensive sequence. Bailey was previously nominated for NFL rookie of the week honors after carving out a defensive role.

Why it matters: Bailey's emergence provides front-seven depth during the 2026 regular season. Steady disruption from first-year contributors remains vital as defensive rotations adjust down the stretch.

What to watch: Bailey will look to maintain his defensive rotation spot as the regular season continues.
