WILD BILL GOES OFF THE SCOREBOARD https://t.co/tLgKSYREhX Via @Brewers on X

What happened: The Wild Bill blast came in the fifth inning of a postseason game against Los Angeles. Yoshinobu Yamamoto exited after 75 pitches over 2 2/3 innings with three runs allowed.

Why it matters: A tie in the middle innings keeps Milwaukee from burning late-inning arms to chase a deficit. Christian Yelich drove in a go-ahead run earlier in the night to start the back-and-forth.

By the numbers: 5th postseason HR with Brewers. Yamamoto: 2.2 IP, 75 pitches, 4 H, 3 R, 2 BB, 1 K.

What to watch: Milwaukee turns to its bullpen to hold the tie into the late innings. The next run decides late-game matchups.
