What happened: Williams Racing sparked social media engagement by posting a cheeky "here we go" teaser featuring Brazilian defender Thiago Silva following the MSC Cruises Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix. The veteran center-back, a noted Formula 1 enthusiast, was a guest in the Williams garage during a weekend that saw Lewis Hamilton secure a commanding victory.

Why it matters: The interaction highlights the growing intersection between F1 and global football stars, particularly as Thiago Silva prepares for a move to FC Porto after being left out of Brazil's World Cup squad. For Williams, the crossover stunt maintains brand momentum as they continue to integrate academy talent like Franco Colapinto into their scoring structure.

What to watch: Silva is expected to finalize his short-term deal with Porto in the coming days, while Williams turns its focus to the next round of the 2026 F1 season.
