What happened: Pittsburgh linebacker Payton Wilson credited defensive coordinator Patrick Graham for calling plays from the sideline. Wilson pointed to Graham's drive to win and love for the game.

Why it matters: Sideline play-calling keeps Patrick Graham in direct contact with the defense between series. That setup can speed in-game adjustments and communication.

What to watch: Pittsburgh's next game will show whether Graham remains on the sideline to call the defense.
