What happened: Zay Flowers, who previously broke loose for a 54-yard touchdown on Sept. 13, reached the end zone again from 48 yards out during Sunday's CBS broadcast. He returned to full scoring production after carrying a limited practice designation for a toe injury on Oct. 15.

Why it matters: The long scoring play reinforces the commitment made on Aug. 28, when Flowers signed a four-year, $140 million contract extension. Drafted 22nd overall out of Boston College in 2023, the wideout has remained a primary downfield threat throughout the 2026 regular season.

What to watch: Flowers will look to build on his 2026 receiving totals through the remainder of Sunday's game and into Week 8.
