What happened: San Francisco moved Ogbo Okoronkwo to the active roster and signed Eugene Asante to the practice squad. The club also opened the practice window for Christian Kirk, permitting his return to practice while his roster status is determined.

Why it matters: The moves stock edge and linebacker depth for a 5-0 San Francisco club managing a thin defensive line rotation. Kirk's progression gives the offense a potential reinforcement at receiver if he is activated.

What to watch: Kirk will practice with the team during the window before San Francisco faces an activation decision. Okoronkwo is available on the active roster with Asante on the practice squad.
