What happened: Aday Mara is heading to the Oklahoma City Thunder out of Michigan. He is one of three Michigan players selected in the 2026 NBA Draft.

Why it matters: Oklahoma City adds a young, developmental big to one of the deepest rosters in the league, giving the Thunder a long-term frontcourt project. Michigan placing three players in a single draft class signals the program's growing pipeline into the NBA.
