What happened: Ajax and AS Monaco have reached an agreement over the transfer of left-back Caio Henrique to the Amsterdam club, per Foot Mercato. The 28-year-old Brazilian would move to the Eredivisie side, with reporting indicating the framework of a deal is in place.

Why it matters: A settled agreement between clubs marks the decisive stage of a transfer, leaving terms and a medical to finalize. Adding an experienced senior fullback signals Ajax's intent to reinforce the flanks as they rebuild under new management for the upcoming campaign.

What to watch: Watch for confirmation of personal terms, a scheduled medical, and an official announcement from either club.
