What happened: Offensive coordinator Brian Daboll credited rookie wide receiver Carnell Tate for maintaining a mature, level-headed approach alongside his on-field production. The remarks follow head coach Robert Saleh also addressing the Ohio State product's development on Oct. 19.

Why it matters: Building offensive consistency has been a central priority for Daboll's unit during the 2026 regular season. Having a poised first-year target who continued producing after landing on the injury report with a back issue on Oct. 8 gives the passing attack a dependable perimeter option.

What to watch: Tate looks to build on his Week 6 scoring performance as the offense prepares for its next regular-season matchup.
