What happened: The Denver Broncos are projecting defensive end Sai'vion Jones as a primary breakout candidate for the 2026 season. Jones was acquired during the 2025 NFL Draft after Denver traded up with the Philadelphia Eagles to secure the LSU standout at No. 101 overall.

Why it matters: With veteran John Franklin-Myers departing for the Tennessee Titans in free agency, a significant opening has emerged on the Broncos' defensive line. Jones is the internal favorite to step into a starting spot in Vance Joseph's scheme following a developmental rookie year.

What to watch: Jones will look to cement his position as a starter during the team's mandatory minicamp and training camp in July.
