Bulls Waive Marquel Sutton, Sign Jalen Bridges

Preseason swap churns end-of-bench forward spot

Wire Report IntelligenceUpdated yesterday1 min read

Roster Update: We have waived F Marquel Sutton. In a subsequent move, we have signed F Jalen Bridges. Via @chicagobulls on X

What happened: The first move cleared Sutton from the forward group. The second filled that opening with Bridges ahead of the 2026-27 preseason slate.

Why it matters: Fringe preseason swaps decide camp depth and two-way competition. The forward exchange keeps a developmental look in the building through October.

What to watch: Watch camp cuts and Exhibit 10 shuffling as the opener nears.
