What happened: Vega Ioane (70.6), Travis Burke (70.5), and Spencer Fano (69.2) round out PFF's top five offensive grades for first-year linemen during the 2026 regular season. Austin Barber, who previously paced rookie linemen in pass blocking, holds second place overall at 71.5.

Why it matters: New England selected Lomu 28th overall out of Utah in the 2026 NFL Draft, 19 spots after Cleveland took his collegiate teammate Fano at No. 9. Third-round pick Barber (86th overall out of Florida) has outgraded Fano early in their rookie campaigns in Cleveland, while fourth-rounder Burke (117th overall from Memphis) gives the Chargers a day-three selection in the top four.

What to watch: Lomu and the Patriots take on the Jets on Sunday as the 2026 NFL regular season continues.
