What happened: Memphis Grizzlies forward Cameron Boozer and Golden State Warriors forward Yaxel Lendeborg spearhead the standout performers from the 2026 NBA Draft class on Jeff Zillgitt's 2026-27 Kia Rookie Ladder on the NBA App. Fellow 2026 rookies Caleb Wilson and AJ Dybantsa also draw early-season recognition alongside the Chicago Bulls' young core.

Why it matters: Boozer officially joined the Grizzlies via signing on July 13 and has contributed immediately to an undefeated opening week of the 2026-27 regular season. Lendeborg, who signed with the Warriors on July 1, gives Golden State a productive frontcourt rotation piece as the club builds on its first victory of the campaign.

By the numbers: Memphis improved to 4-0 with a 110-105 road victory on Oct. 26, the same night Golden State earned its first win by a 134-114 margin and Chicago fell 134-99 to drop to 1-3. As of Oct. 28, Lendeborg is listed as questionable with left foot inflammation and soreness, while Dybantsa is available while managing a left ankle sprain.

What to watch: Lendeborg's game-day availability will be monitored ahead of Golden State's next tipoff as he manages his foot issue. Boozer will look to extend Memphis's unbeaten run while Wilson, Dybantsa, and Chicago aim to climb the early rookie rankings.
