What happened: Coach Campbell said Branch and Mays are slated to play. The plan stays contingent on no setback arising before the game.

Why it matters: Getting both back would restock options on opposite sides of the ball. Their presence would let the staff use its intended rotation on game day.

What to watch: The rest of the week will determine if the plan holds. Active status at kickoff will settle whether both suit up.
