What happened: Arizona elevated second-year offensive lineman Kingsley Eguakun to the active 53-man roster on Wednesday and signed veteran wide receiver Zay Jones to the practice squad. Eguakun, a Florida product, initially signed with the organization on Oct. 2, while Jones finalized his return on Oct. 27 after entering the league out of East Carolina as Buffalo's 37th overall pick in 2017.

Why it matters: The moves continue a midseason depth reshuffle for an Arizona roster that promoted running back Evan Hull in a four-player shuffle on Oct. 24. Moving Eguakun to the active roster reinforces the interior offensive line, while placing Jones on the practice squad retains a veteran receiving option who already knows the system.

What to watch: Eguakun is immediately eligible for game-day active lineups on the 53-man roster, while Jones begins his latest stint on the practice squad ahead of the Nov. 10 NFL trade deadline.
