What happened: Los Angeles added kicker Joshua Karty, long snapper Jake McQuaide and inside linebacker Jon Rhattigan to the practice squad on Oct. 27 while terminating the practice-squad contracts of offensive lineman Austin Blaske, cornerback Nyzier Fourqurean and inside linebacker Elias Neal. Karty returns to the organization after kicking for the Rams in 2024 and 2025. Neal, a second-year pro out of Marshall who was elevated on Sept. 21, departs alongside rookies Blaske (North Carolina) and Fourqurean (Wisconsin).

Why it matters: The six-player shuffle retools the developmental unit's special teams battery and linebacker depth following a 35-21 road win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Oct. 25. Signing Rhattigan continues a midseason linebacker adjustment after Los Angeles signed veteran linebacker Eric Kendricks to the practice squad on Oct. 6 before elevating him to the active roster. With Karty and McQuaide in the fold, the Rams hold veteran kicking and snapping insurance on the practice squad ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline.
