What happened: Adam Schefter highlighted a Chargers video featuring tight end Charlie Kolar, calling him a "certified football guy." The clip, shared by the team's official account, showcases Kolar's personality and fit within Jim Harbaugh's program in Los Angeles. The post drew engagement from Chargers fans responding to the energy on display.

Why it matters: Cultural fit matters under Harbaugh, whose program leans heavily on tough, no-nonsense players. Kolar's profile as a blocker-first tight end complements the Chargers' offseason additions, including the recent signing of David Njoku, deepening the room ahead of the 2026 season.

What to watch: Watch how Kolar is deployed in the Chargers' tight end rotation alongside Njoku once OTAs and training camp begin. The 2026 NFL schedule release Thursday will further frame Los Angeles' path into the season.
