What happened: The Commanders added linebacker Austin Keys and tight end Quentin Moore to the practice squad. Keys was waived Oct. 19 after time on the active roster. Moore rejoins the roster group after going on injured reserve Sept. 9.

Why it matters: Keys gives Washington experienced linebacker depth in his third season out of Auburn. He recorded 7 tackles and 1 sack in 11 games with Minnesota in 2025. Moore restores tight-end depth after six weeks on injured reserve.

By the numbers: Austin Keys, 2025 with Vikings: 11 games, 7 tackles, 1 sack. Third NFL season, Auburn product.

What to watch: Elevations are possible if Washington needs linebacker or tight-end depth this week.
