What happened: Hats thrown onto the ice at Honda Center during Cutter Gauthier's recent hat trick were collected and delivered to local youth hockey players and figure skaters. The distribution took place at Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena to repurpose the discarded caps for young athletes in the community.

Why it matters: The gesture follows a breakout scoring stretch for Cutter Gauthier, who notched a two-goal performance late last month before recording his three-goal game. Distributing the memorabilia converts traditional celebration debris into direct community outreach for grassroots skating programs.

What to watch: Anaheim opens its upcoming road trip against Vancouver.
