What happened: The United Football League concludes its 2026 season Saturday as the defending champion DC Defenders host the Louisville Kings in the inaugural United Bowl. The championship matchup at Audi Field features a red-hot expansion team against an established powerhouse seeking back-to-back titles.

Why it matters: The Kings enter the finale on a five-game winning streak after starting their inaugural season 0-3. DC remains a slight in the market despite losing both regular-season matchups to Louisville. The outcome will decide if the Defenders can cement their dynasty or if the Kings can complete a historic worst-to-first expansion run.

What to watch: Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 PM ET Saturday on ABC. The winner will be crowned the first-ever United Bowl champion of the UFL.
