What happened: Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson addressed the media Wednesday for the first time since October 2024. Watson discussed his personal growth and new "introvert" mindset as he returns from a season-ending Achilles injury that sidelined him for the entire 2025 campaign.

Why it matters: Watson is entering the final year of his fully guaranteed $230 million contract with his future in Cleveland uncertain. He is currently locked in a mandatory minicamp quarterback battle with Shedeur Sanders, who has reportedly gained momentum as the potential Week 1 starter.

What to watch: Watson and Sanders will continue to split first-team reps through training camp. Head coach Todd Monken is expected to name a starter before the preseason finale.
