What happened: No signing followed Tuesday's evaluation. Mike Garafolo said Plummer could remain under consideration later.

Why it matters: A deal would move the reigning spring-league MVP into an NFL quarterback room before the 2026 season. The prior San Francisco workout means any next step hinges on whether either club creates a roster spot.

By the numbers: Plummer led the 2026 UFL with 2,188 passing yards, 195 completions and a 104.1 quarterback rating. He threw 17 touchdowns against one interception while completing 65% of his passes.

What to watch: Watch for a contract offer or another workout as clubs adjust their camp rosters.
