That's pure hoops right there! It doesn't matter where we are in the game; it's always Rhy Time ⌚️ The choice is clear: Via @AtlantaDream on X

What happened: Atlanta posted award support for Rhyne Howard on Sept. 21, listing Defensive Player of the Year, All-WNBA and All-Defense. The message tied the case to late-game shot-making under the Rhy Time tag.

Why it matters: The push lands during the 2026 WNBA postseason, when award races close alongside playoff performance. Two-way guards who space the floor and generate steals carry added value in short series.

By the numbers: Howard set the single-season 3-point mark with her 129th make past Sabrina Ionescu on Sept. 18. She also ranked top five in made threes and both steals categories.

What to watch: Watch postseason games and upcoming award ballots for finalists and voting results.
