Highest missed tackle forced rate among RB this season (min 25 touches) Emmett Johnson 50.0% George Holani Via @PFF on X

What happened: Rookie fifth-round pick Emmett Johnson has forced a missed tackle on half of his touches this season to pace all qualifying NFL backs, per PFF. Kenneth Walker (34.8%), RJ Harvey (30.6%), Tyjae Spears (30.3%) and Jahmyr Gibbs (30.1%) round out the top six.

Why it matters: That open-field production reinforces Johnson's expanded offensive role for the Chiefs after Kansas City drafted him 161st overall out of Nebraska in 2026. Third-year Boise State product Holani and Johnson both rank ahead of 2023 first-rounder Gibbs (12th overall out of Alabama) and 2023 third-rounder Spears (81st overall out of Tulane).

By the numbers: Johnson's 14.6-percentage-point edge over second-place Holani exceeds the entire 5.3-point

What to watch: Spears enters Week 8 listed as questionable for the 1-6 Titans following Tennessee's 27-24 loss to the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 25.
