What happened: The African Grand Prix will take place in Bugesera, Rwanda. The event joins the calendar in the early 2030s under a 10-year agreement.

Why it matters: It returns the championship to Africa after a long absence from the schedule. The 10-year term locks in a new long-term venue for future calendars.

What to watch: Organizers still must confirm the circuit timeline and the first race date.
