What happened: The Atlanta Falcons signed running back Khalil Herbert to the active roster on Saturday, according to the team. The transaction fills an open spot created by an injured reserve placement ahead of Sunday's game. Herbert rejoins the active lineup to reinforce backfield depth.

Why it matters: The roster move solidifies Atlanta's offensive rotation heading into the second half of the campaign. Adding proven depth ensures stability in the ground attack for upcoming conference and international matchups.

What to watch: Atlanta prepares for kickoff on Sunday in Madrid, with Herbert eligible to dress and contribute immediately.
