What happened: FC Cincinnati honored First Team Assistant Coach Brett Uttley on his 36th birthday Tuesday. Uttley joined the club in early 2026 to oversee the attacking unit and tactical analysis under head coach Pat Noonan.

Why it matters: Uttley's influence has been felt in Cincinnati's offensive production this season, highlighted by a dominant six-goal performance against Orlando City in May. He previously led Austin FC II to the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Cup title before moving to the Queen City.

What to watch: The club is currently observing the 2026 FIFA World Cup break and will return to MLS action on July 22 against the Vancouver Whitecaps.
