What happened: General Manager Ryan Johnson announced that forward Filip Chytil has been placed on injured reserve. In a corresponding roster move, forward Jacob Quillan was recalled from Abbotsford of the American Hockey League.

Why it matters: The roster transaction alters forward depth after Chytil previously landed on injured reserve earlier in the autumn. Quillan enters to provide immediate lineup flexibility while Chytil remains sidelined.

What to watch: Roster deployment and line combinations will take shape during morning skate ahead of upcoming game action.
