What happened: Theo Lindstein has been recalled from the AHL's Springfield Thunderbirds. The transaction brings the skater back up to the NHL roster following his stint in the minors.

Why it matters: The roster move provides immediate depth as the organization manages its defensive rotation during the regular season. Shuffling talent between the affiliates allows the coaching staff flexibility to adjust to lineup demands.

What to watch: Watch for whether Lindstein draws into the active lineup for the next contest or remains on hand as a reserve.
