What happened: Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola confirmed he will watch Arsenal’s crucial away fixture against West Ham on Sunday. The comments came after City’s 3-0 win over Brentford on Saturday, which kept them within striking distance of the top spot.

Why it matters: Arsenal holds a slim two-point lead over City with three matches remaining in the 2025-26 season. Guardiola's interest follows his recent 'Come On You Irons' plea to West Ham, hoping the relegation-threatened side can force an Arsenal error.

By the numbers: Arsenal sits first with 76 points (+41 GD), while Manchester City follows with 74 points (+40 GD). West Ham is currently 18th in the table with 36 points, battling to avoid relegation.

What to watch: Arsenal kicks off against West Ham today, May 10, at the London Stadium.
