What happened: NFL analyst James Palmer noted Sunday that C.J. Stroud operates at another level when throwing to receivers he trusts, pointing to his established rapport with Tank Dell and Nico Collins alongside the October acquisition of Marvin Harrison Jr. Houston activated Dell from injured reserve Saturday after the 2023 third-round pick missed the entire 2025 campaign with a knee injury.

Why it matters: Dell's season debut gives Houston its full complement of perimeter targets as the offense looks to climb out of an early-season hole. Pairing Dell's separation ability with Collins and Harrison prevents defenses from rolling bracket coverage toward a single receiver.

What to watch: Dell takes the field Sunday against the Giants, where his snap count will offer the first gauge of his workload off injured reserve.
