What happened: Houston officially elevated wide receiver Tank Dell from injured reserve on Saturday and removed his questionable tag from the injury report. The move clears the way for his 2026 debut after the team placed him on injured reserve with a return designation earlier this year.

Why it matters: Dell steps back onto the field for his first NFL game in almost two years following a knee injury. His return bolsters a Texans lineup missing running back David Montgomery and offensive tackle Blake Fisher, who were both ruled out alongside defenders Jalen Pitre and Reed Blankenship.

By the numbers: Houston enters the matchup at 2-4 overall and holds the No. 13 seed on a two-game winning streak after defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars 34-31 on Oct. 18.

What to watch: Dell is slated to make his season debut Sunday when the Texans take on the New York Giants.
