What happened: Jared Goff and Brock Purdy sit tied atop the NFL in passing touchdowns against the blitz this regular season with eight apiece, per PFF. Purdy has surrendered one interception against extra rushers, while Jordan Love, Aaron Rodgers and Matt Stafford trail by one score with seven touchdown passes each.

Why it matters: Punishing extra pass rushers without turning the ball over extends Goff's broader stretch of 12 touchdown passes and zero interceptions this October. Love has paired his seven touchdowns against the blitz with two interceptions, while Rodgers and Stafford have each committed three turnovers under extra pressure.

What to watch: Opposing defensive coordinators in upcoming Week 9 matchups must weigh sending extra rushers against the league's five most productive quarterbacks against the blitz.
