The Lakers have downgraded Ziaire Williams and he’ll miss another game with his foot injury Via @DanWoikeSports on X

What happened: The Los Angeles Lakers downgraded forward Ziaire Williams to out for Sunday's game due to a foot injury. Williams previously missed Friday's contest after the team ruled him out against the Warriors.

Why it matters: Williams' continued absence challenges Los Angeles' wing depth while the team manages his left foot and heel issue. The Lakers rely on perimeter rotation stability following their recent road defeat.

By the numbers: The Lakers are 4-2 through six games in the 2026-27 regular season, having lost 112-95 at Golden State in their previous contest.

What to watch: The Lakers host the Toronto Raptors on Sunday with tipoff scheduled for 9:00 PM ET.
