What happened: Linzer Athletik-Sport-Klub confirmed six new squad members ahead of the ÖFB-Frauen Bundesliga season. Head coach Markus Eitl brought in a group of international and domestic talent, highlighted by Croatian midfielder Tea Kržnarić and Estonian forward Katrin Kirpu. The Linz-based club also acquired Miriam Sterrer, Dayna Sunshine Tuppinger, Antea Guvo, and Blanka Bokor.

Why it matters: The investments aim to build on a seventh-place finish from the 2025-26 campaign, which was a step up from their ninth-place result in 2024-25. Eitl is reshaping the roster to continue climbing the league table and compete in the upcoming ÖFB Frauen Cup.

What to watch: The squad will open the 2026-27 season on the road against FC Blau-Weiß Linz.
