What happened: FC Lorient confirmed on Tuesday that Alexandre Dujeux has signed a two-year contract with an option for a third to become their new manager. Dujeux, who recently left Angers SCO after guiding them to top-flight stability, succeeds Olivier Pantaloni.

Why it matters: The move follows Pantaloni's departure after a 9th-place Ligue 1 finish, reportedly due to a lack of trust from the club's hierarchy. Lorient is entering a new era under the full ownership of Bill Foley's Black Knight Football Club group, and Alexandre Dujeux was selected for his track record of developing player potential.

What to watch: Dujeux will oversee the club's summer transfer window as they look to build on their top-half finish under new ownership.
