What happened: Luke Williams was cited among the standouts coming out of the latest MLB Draft Combine workouts. Williams enters the showcase ranked as the No. 101 prospect on the board as evaluators get an up-close look ahead of the 2026 MLB Draft.

Why it matters: The Combine is one of the last controlled settings where teams can measure tools, medicals and makeup before draft day, and a strong showing can move a prospect's stock in either direction. For a player slotted around the triple-digit range like Williams, a standout session is exactly the kind of swing that reshapes where he ultimately hears his name called.

What to watch: Watch how Williams' ranking shifts as teams finalize their boards in the run-up to the 2026 MLB Draft.
