What happened: The veteran receiver who exited with a calf injury on Oct. 5 is with the club at Soldier Field on Thursday despite remaining on the reserve list, per Mike Reiss. Hollins missed the Oct. 8 practice session prior to his Oct. 10 designation.

Why it matters: Making the road trip while unavailable to play reflects the locker-room role of a veteran who joined New England's captains at midfield on Sept. 20. With both Hollins and fellow receiver Romeo Doubs sidelined on injured reserve, the franchise is weighing pass-rush and wideout trades before the Nov. 10 cutoff for its Super Bowl repeat push.

By the numbers: Per ESPN (as of Sept. 29, 2026), Hollins caught 46 passes for 550 yards and two touchdowns across 15 games with the Patriots in 2025. The Philadelphia Eagles originally selected him out of North Carolina in the fourth round, 118th overall, of the 2017 NFL Draft (as of Sept. 29, 2026).

What to watch: Active wideout A.J. Brown and cornerback Christian Gonzalez went through pregame warmups at Soldier Field ahead of Thursday's matchup.
