What happened: Manchester City are finalizing the transfer of winger Jeremy Monga, who is undergoing his medical today. The club reached an agreement with Leicester City last week for a guaranteed fee of around £10 million.

Why it matters: The acquisition strengthens Manchester City's developmental pipeline after the club successfully hijacked the deal from Arsenal. Monga is viewed as a premier youth talent in England, reflecting an aggressive investment in academy prospects. He is expected to initially join the club's development setup rather than the senior squad.

What to watch: The team will formally announce the signing once medical evaluations and final paperwork conclude. Monga could subsequently join the youth squad for pre-season preparations.
