What happened: Kevin McGonigle, Riley Greene, and Dillon Dingler have been named finalists for the 2026 Louisville Slugger Silver Slugger Award. The honors recognize the top offensive producers at each position across Major League Baseball.

Why it matters: The nominations highlight an ascendant campaign for Detroit's lineup, coming as McGonigle was named 2026 Tiger of the Year by the Detroit Chapter of the BBWAA. Greene and Dingler both previously secured spots on the Sporting News AL All-Star Team in October.

What to watch: Silver Slugger Award winners will be revealed following final voting across both leagues.
