What happened: Kickoff is set for noon EDT Saturday at Neyland Stadium on ABC. Sarkisian returns to Knoxville for the first time since serving as Alabama's offensive coordinator in 2020. Texas enters 3-0 with Arch Manning at 60 of 97 for 664 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions.

Why it matters: Winner opens SEC play with early leverage in the conference race. Sarkisian's Texas teams have produced a 1,000-yard rusher in four of five seasons since 2021, underscoring the run-first foundation behind the RPO and play-action package.

By the numbers: Arch Manning: 60-97, 664 yards, 7 TD, 2 INT; 20 carries for 80 yards. Hollywood Smothers leads Texas with 198 rush yards and 2 TD plus 8 catches for 57 yards and 1 TD; Raleek Brown adds 129 yards and 2 TD. Cam Coleman 178 yards and 4 TD, Ryan Wingo 165 yards and 2 TD, Emmett Mosley V 130 yards; Emaree Winston leads tight ends with 5 catches for 64 yards.

What to watch: Watch whether Tennessee loads the box to test Manning's reads on RPO slants and perimeter screens.
