What happened: The Minnesota Vikings have added Odell Beckham Jr. to their practice squad. The transaction follows his late-September release from the New York Giants.

Why it matters: Minnesota secures veteran insurance for its offensive unit. Beckham previously went without a reception in three appearances during his brief return to New York earlier this season.

What to watch: Beckham will attempt to earn an elevation to the active 53-man roster during upcoming practices.
