What happened: The criticism centers on Washington's late-game execution against New York. The game went to overtime and finished 27-27.

Why it matters: The tie leaves a divisional result unsettled for Washington and New York. Scrutiny falls on Daniels as Washington's 2024 second overall pick from LSU.

By the numbers: Daniels completed 114 of 188 passes for 1,262 yards with 8 touchdowns and 3 interceptions in 7 games in 2025. Parsons made 41 tackles with 12.5 sacks in 14 games in 2025. Washington tied New York 27-27 in overtime.

What to watch: Washington's late-game operation and Daniels' next divisional outing will show whether the criticism sticks.
